Setting Age Limit: Under 16 May Soon Be Out Of WhatsApp.

The big brother messaging services “WhatsApp” had confirmed to ban teenagers below the age of sixteen years old from using its services in European Union.

As at now teenagers who are at the age of 13years of age are allowed to use the platform. However, the popular messaging service is changing the rule ahead of the introduction of new EU data privacy regulation in May.

WhatsApp will now ask its users to be confirming  their age as far as the new terms of service is concern. This will be effective in the next few weeks.

WhatsApp has not given any details yet on how it will implements the age limit. But, as at now WhatsApp is not asking users to confirm their age when joining and has not be conferencing their Facebook/Instagram accounts so as to find out.
