ADVANCED TEHNOLOGY NOW ASSIST THE BLIND TO SEE WITH THEIR TONGUE
An advanced technology called BrainPort(R) V 100 is now assisting the blind people to see with their tongues.

With these new technology advancement, about 285million people who are blind all over the world can now see with their tongues. This technology has to do with people using their tongue’s surface.
Sensory – substitution devices that use the brain are being created increasingly. They work by tapping visual information from the the environment and convert them into sound so that they can the user can interprets them as vision.
“While these devices were designed with the goal of restoring lost sensation, in the past decade have begun to revise our understanding of brain. Organization and development. The idea that underlies sensory substitution is a radical one: that the brain is capable of processing perceptual information in much the same way, no matter organ delivers it.” Said the New Yorker.
